Laval home energy rebates and loans

The Laval Oil Heating Replacement Subsidy offers rebates of up to $18,000. For an air-source heat pump, rebates add up to $16,000 today from the Énergir Dual-Energy Grants (heat pump added to a natural gas system), the LogisVert Efficient Homes Program and the Laval Oil Heating Replacement Subsidy. The federal National Heat Pump Rebate will add $2,000, or up to $10,000 below the median income, once it opens.

Laval is an island suburb north of Montréal, mostly detached houses, duplexes and low-rise condos built from the 1950s onward. Most homes heat with electricity, but the City is pushing the remaining oil-heated homes to switch.
