How it works

The City of Repentigny tops up the provincial and Hydro-Québec grants that homeowners receive for energy-saving renovations. Once you have the cheque from the provincial or Hydro-Québec program, you send the city proof of it and receive an extra 25% by mail.

The top-up is 25% up to $500 for Rénoclimat (insulation, air sealing, windows and doors, ventilation, heating and other recommended work), 25% up to $200 for LogisVert (for example, a heat pump), and 25% up to $500 for Chauffez vert (replacement of oil or propane heating). Each request must be made within 12 months of receiving the provincial or Hydro-Québec cheque.

Who qualifies

  • Owner of a property in Repentigny.
  • You have received a grant cheque from Rénoclimat, Chauffez vert or Hydro-Québec's LogisVert for work on that property.
  • The request is made within 12 months of receiving the provincial or Hydro-Québec cheque.

How to apply

  1. Step 1: Complete your work and receive the grant from Rénoclimat, LogisVert or Chauffez vert.

  2. Step 2: Take a clear photo of the cheque and payment stub.

  3. Step 3: Submit the request online through the city's Mon compte portal (demandes en ligne). The top-up is mailed to you once the file is complete.
