EV purchase incentives in Ontario

The first tip comes from the program’s own steps. Each program’s rules come first.

How myEnergy Rewards works in Ont.
Check your postal code on Hydro One's myEnergy Rewards page. Click Enrol now, choose your thermostat brand, and follow the prompts on the partner platform.
Incentives are usually at the dealer
Most federal and provincial EV incentives are applied at the point of sale. Confirm the dealer is registered and that the incentive appears on the bill of sale.
Check price caps
Programs often cap the eligible vehicle price, and the cap can depend on the trim level.
Watch for funding limits
EV programs can pause when funding runs out. Check the status on the day you buy.
