Window and door leads in Manitoba

For windows and doors in Manitoba we track 2 rebates open to most homes (Efficiency Manitoba Home Energy Retrofits, Efficiency Manitoba Windows and Doors Rebate), 1 loan and 2 income-tested programs (not sold as leads).

In all, 5 current programs: Efficiency Manitoba Energy Efficiency Assistance Program, Efficiency Manitoba Home Energy Retrofits and 2 more local programs, plus a federal program.

2 of them only pay when the work is done by a registered contractor or a participating contractor, so homeowners go looking for an installer who already qualifies.

A household can stack up to $100 for windows and doors from programs open today.

How our window leads work

Homeowners in Manitoba find us by searching for rebates. When they ask for quotes, we send the request to installers who serve their postal area. Where a program only pays through a listed contractor, the lead only goes to partners we've checked on that program's official list.

See the page they read: Manitoba windows & doors rebates.

  • Consent on every lead

The homeowner ticked an unticked box agreeing to hear from up to 3 companies. You get the exact wording, its version and the time.

  • Shared, first look or exclusive

A shared lead goes to at most 3 companies. A first look is yours alone for 4 working hours before it may go to others. An exclusive lead goes to you alone. You choose.

  • What’s in it

Name, email, postal code, the upgrade, timeline and whether they own the home; phone when given (a lead without a phone number is 50% of the price). Finder leads add heating fuel, home type and the programs that apply.

  • Credits

Wrong contact details, duplicates and out-of-area requests are credited if you report them within 72 hours.

  • The paperwork, in order

3 Manitoba programs need an energy assessment. Our pages tell homeowners which step comes first.

Window and door leads in Manitoba: questions

For some programs, yes. In our Manitoba data, 2 programs ask for a registered contractor or a participating contractor: EEAP and Manitoba Hydro Home Energy Efficiency Loan. A lead that depends on one of these programs only goes to partners we've checked on its official list, and you also need the licences and insurance the work requires.

At founding rates, $25 for a shared lead (sent to up to 3 installers), $45 for a first look (yours alone for 4 working hours) and $65 exclusive, in Canadian dollars before tax. Founding partners sign by December 31, 2026 (up to 3 per trade in each metro), get their first qualified lead free, keep their rates for 12 months and are invoiced weekly for the first 60 days. Bad contact details are credited if you report them within 72 hours.

We don’t publish a number we haven’t measured. RebateHub is new, so we tell partners the real request count for their area before they prepay anything. Founding partners choose their postal areas first.

For some programs. 3 current Manitoba programs need an energy assessment, for example Efficiency Manitoba EnerGuide Home Evaluation Rebate, EEAP and Efficiency Manitoba Home Energy Retrofits.
