ENERGY STAR triple-pane window, entry door or sliding glass door$100 eachPer qualifying rough opening.$100
Same products through the Energy Efficiency Assistance Program or Indigenous offers$300 eachApply through the income-based or Indigenous program, not this rebate.$300

How it works

Efficiency Manitoba pays $100 for each eligible ENERGY STAR certified window with at least triple-pane glass, ENERGY STAR entry door (any glass must be triple pane) or triple-pane sliding glass door that you install in your home. Rebates are counted per rough opening, so a multi-section bay window counts as one.

The windows and doors must replace existing ones between heated and unheated space; new openings, glass inserts without a full frame, garages, porches, three-season rooms, seasonal homes and apartments are not eligible. Each product needs an NRCan ENERGY STAR reference number on the invoice.

Income-qualified households, First Nation band members and qualifying Red River Métis homeowners and renters can get $300 per window or door through Efficiency Manitoba's income-based and Indigenous offers instead.

Who qualifies

  • Products installed in your or your tenant's primary residence in Manitoba
  • Replaces an existing window or door between heated and unheated space
  • ENERGY STAR certified, at least triple-pane glass where applicable, new and bought in Canada, with an NRCan reference number for each product
  • Application and invoice received within 90 days of installation and payment in full

How to apply

  1. Step 1: Ask your supplier to put the NRCan reference number for each window and door on the invoice

  2. Step 2: Install the products and pay in full

  3. Step 3: Apply online with your invoice within 90 days (paper applications available on request)

  4. Step 4: Keep the ENERGY STAR labels on until you are paid, in case photos are requested
