How it works
The Town of Boucherville pays a flat $150 to residents who buy and install a charging station at home for a plug-in electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle. It is a top-up to the Québec government's home charger grant, so you must first have that provincial application approved.
The charger must have been bought and installed at your home between December 8, 2020 and December 31, 2026, and the vehicle must have been acquired after December 8, 2020. The vehicle cannot be bought by or registered to a business, and the vehicle owner's spouse cannot apply in their place. Applications must reach the town by April 1, 2027. You also cannot owe money to the town.
Who qualifies
- Boucherville resident.
- Charger bought and installed at your home between December 8, 2020 and December 31, 2026.
- Plug-in electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle acquired after December 8, 2020, in your name (not a business).
- Approved application under the provincial home charging station grant.
- No debts owed to the town.
How to apply
Step 1: Get your provincial home charger grant approved.
Step 2: Fill in the online form on the town's program page and attach your driver's licence, the installation invoice (at the address on your licence), the vehicle sales contract or registration, and proof of the provincial approval or payment.
Step 3: Apply by April 1, 2027. Allow at least 60 days for processing.
