Installing a home EV charger in Manitoba
Each program’s own rules come first.
- Check your panel first
- A Level 2 charger needs a 240-volt circuit. An electrician can tell you if your panel has room or if load management will avoid an upgrade.
- Keep the permit and invoice
- Rebates usually need proof of professional installation and an electrical permit.
- Check the eligible list
- Many programs only pay for certified, networked or listed charger models.
