How it works
Peak Smart Home lets Yukon Energy make small, temporary adjustments to enrolled thermostats and hot water tank controllers when winter demand peaks, usually between October and April. Participants can override any event.
Enrolled households can get up to 75% of eligible purchase and installation costs back, to a maximum of $750 per device type: up to $750 for smart thermostats and up to $750 for a hot water tank controller, or $1,500 per home in total. Eligible devices include Mysa baseboard thermostats, a range of Sinopé thermostats, Sinopé hot water tank controllers and the Sinopé Zigbee gateway, with receipts dated after December 4, 2024.
You must sign up for Peak Smart Home before applying for the rebate. The Dependable Grid Program also offers a sign-up bonus and annual rewards for Peak Smart Home participants.
